Hello!

Two questions:
1) If my car has an automatic trunk release, where would the button be? I'm not sure what models had an option, and I'm not seeing anything that looks like it, nor am I seeing obvious wiring at the trunk mechanism.
2) How are the door locks supposed to operate? I vaguely remember something about holding the driver's lock open/shut to lock/unlock all the other doors; don't remember if a double-key turn could unlock all or something like that. Is it electrical or mechanical?

There was no trunk lease mechanism except the bar under the chrome plinth on the trunk lid. The trunk does lock when the doors lock. If you want the trunk lock to release there is a very easy modification to make that happen - but there is no manner of raising the lid electrically. The lock can be released but you still have use the bar to open the trunk lid. You might look at Jagcare III, easily accessed on line.
The 87 car has electric lock units but the operation is mechanical, if that makes sense. Turning the key powers the unit which moves the mechanical release bar. Opening the driver’s lock should open the others as well.
