The SW electric gauges I've installed require a ground, yes. Also, did you use the SW sending units?

Cheers

NOTHING worse than a Jaguar with a dashboard full of mismatched gauges from miscellaneous manufacturers .There are so many places to buy factory correct Jaguar replacement gauges (with their matching sending units)- why would you use something non Jaguar? Because they are pretty?

Cameren:

Yup. SW and Jaguar are different languages. You need a match of sensor to guage.

Although, a couple ?) of years back, I lost faith in the Jag OP guage.. Little or noe showing!!!! well, the idiot light worked OK, and as m y car has hydraulic lifters, they were quike. So I need nt worry. but, I did.

I looked for a mechanical OP guage. No luck. So, I settled for an after market sun Pro, guage and sender. I plumbed it ina nd as I suspected, my OP was just fine.

What I did learn was the far mre robust sun Pro sensor had connection options> One made the numbers on the guage right on. Compatible.

but, I went back to a Jag sensor. A NOs via David Boger. Just fine.
