Headlamp conversion, DRL's, Relays and H/L fusebox
Well,
Finally finished the conversion to 7" outer headlamps. While at it, I upgraded all the headlamp wiring to 14G, installed controlling relays, bypassed the lighting switch, installed Daytime Running Lights and updated the Headlamp Fusebox.
All in all very pleased.
For anyone interested, a MS Word file is attached with a description and diagram. It's very detailed and is 7 pages long! There is also a photo showing the relay mounting positions. The DRL relay had not yet been installed. Sorry, no other pics as my camera died!
The headlamp relay fuses are 2 Amps as is the DRL Isolation relay. The Aux. Fan stays at 20 Amps.
