Default Hose types and sizes for wheel well hoses

I'm finally getting to put the suspension back in up front in my 84 XJ6. I don't want to leave anything in there that is potentially decaying while I have all parts out and everything is easy to get to. There's a bunch of steel lines and hoses with different sizes. I don't know anything about hoses aside from I do know that different kinds are for different applications.

So my question is, what are the different kinds of hoses that I'd need to buy from the auto parts stores (I figure a couple feet of each kind ought to cover it) to replace all the rubber in the passenger side fender well where the wheel goes. I know my local shop sells fuel and water hoses by the foot. This is the location where lots of hoses and lines go to the evap canister.

Also I found this weird unconnected snorkel like hose in the back of the canister that doesn't seem connected to anything. It is larger daimeter and goes from underneath up and does a 180 degree turn on top of the canister. Looks like a snorkel.

are you asking about brake line hoses or vacuum, vapor, and liquid hoses?

if vacuum and or liquid, just remove them one at a time and match them at the auto parts store.

post a picture of the snorkel.
