Default How many motor mounts?

Hi everyone. Just a quick question about how many motor mounts are in my 85 xj6. I know I need new motor mounts/transmission mounts but im not sure how many, so id rather just buy and replace all of them. I cant seem to find any info on how many there are though. (im not going to be replacing them btw, just buying them lol I know nothing about cars)

Left motor mount, right motor mount.

The trans mount is a multi-piece affair. Two mounting blocks and one central mounting bushing.

Some catalog refer to the trans mounts as 'rear engine mounts' which can be a little confusing

And, of course, not forgetting the engine steady mount at the top and back of the engine by the bulkhead

You've got me on that one, Fraser. On a Ser III six cylinder?

Refresh my memory, please, as that's not ringing any bells at all!

Well, I'm almost sure my 1980 had an engine steady mount at the back of the engine. I know my Mark 2 had one.

I must be getting old. Sorry, folks !!!
