Default How to remove abs ring (replacing front rotors)

Hi,
i am rebuilding/replacing my front brakes.. how can i remove the abs ring from disc/hub assembly?



How is the abs disc held in place? What tool do i need to remove it?

The cars here do not have ABS?

Its a Daimler Double Six, which should be very similar to a XJ12 S3

I'd use a small gear puller to remove the ring.

Often you can gently tap them off with a drift and hammer if you have clear access to the backside....which you don't.

Only the last of the Series III V12s had it, Carl. Circa 1990-92, I think? I'm guessing maybe 2500 cars in all?

thx, will try (just ordered a gear puller...)

Am i gonna need a hydraulik press to get it back on?
