Default Brake flush need to be done when replacing front rotors and pads?

Does anyone know if a brake flush needs to be done if doing the front rotors and pads. Both pads and rotors will be new and replaced. A Jag tech in my area said he would never change brakes on the jags without doing a flush. I did a brake flush on the car at the dealer about 4 months ago, so IDK what do you guys think?

No. But your car is over 11 years old. You should swap the fluid out sometime and when changing brakes you are right there anyway.

I always do a flush along with the brake job. It's just the proper time to do it.

There's no technical reason to do a flush when doing pads. Ask your guy why 4 month old fluid is no longer serviceable.

4 months old fluid - great. No flush for me if I were doing the job.
That said, last time I did the job I did a flush, but my fluid was much older.

NO advantage in stopping power on street driven cars. Some can be noisy making 'swish' sound. It's bling thing only.

All pads and rotors need to be bedded in.

+1 had cross drilled rotors (discs in uk) on a previous car, so much noise I changed back to stock.

I would only flush the fluid if it's been over 5 years. Let me know how those brakes work for you. I've been thinking about putting them on my car.
