Injector relay
My 83 xj6 is intermittently stopping. My start relay has started chattering on start up. Sometimes it starts when I can hear the injectors working. It motors over well. Why are my injectors intermittant

Does this occur only when hot? Only when cold? Any particulars?
My start relay has started chattering on start up.
Possibilities: Low voltage, poor connections, dirty contacts inside the relay

If you sure that the injectors are intermittent check the connections at the 'main' relay and the injectors ballast---which is mounted on the RH inner fender, well forward and down low. Also check the bundle of ground wires at the rear of the water rail

The symptom occurs hot or cold. The starter motor works well, it only starts when I can hear the injectors clicking. Problem still occurs when jump starting so not a voltage problem. Shall look in fender for main relay when back home.
