Interior wood restoration
I've done a search and haven't found my answer. I am wondering if anyone has installed one of these sets...

I have a '86 that I'd like to redo the dash and door wood... Are these any good? I'd gladly pay the price if I knew I was going to get a quality product. Any help here would be appreciated. I don't really want to tear out the whole dash to refurb the wood and revarnish... so I'm looking for a goodalternative.

These things are all over Ebay anywhere from a low of $120 up to over $250. Most use the image I've attached above. Yes they use a 3M tape to stick over the existing wood...I've seen these in other cars and they look real good. I'm just wondering if anyone here has put a set in their Jag...?

I have a parts car that already has this kit installed. In my opinion it looks really nice. Certainly won't win any Concours events for originality, but good looking none the less.
I'd say, it would dress up that everyday driver very well.
