The owner is definitely worth following on Instagram. Tackling some big jobs on the street in all kinds of weather. Very brave.

I applaud him. Beautiful car. The fact that he does his own work and drives the wheels off it makes it even better.

I gave my older daughter a 1984 XJ6 and taught her to maintain it. She was visiting friends in Charlotte (about 65 miles from where we live) and the starter packed it in. I had to go rescue her late that night and we didn't have time to anything but diagnose the trouble. A couple of days later she purchased a starter, bummed a ride to Charlotte from a friend, jacked the car up and changed the starter right there in front of the nightclub where she left the car. Loaded up her tools (Xmas present from me) and drove it home. I was rather proud of her...
