Default 45DE6 Coil

I have a problem which may be related. Just replaced plug wires on my 77 XJ6C S2 which I was happy to discover what looks like a Lucas 45DE6 Distributor. Probably explains why it started in half a turn. Anyhow, in the end turned over like a champ but didn't fire. One spring clip was off the cap and when I pulled it the center carbon electrode was broken. Don't ask, my bad ! Anyhow, new cap, still spins but no fire. No output from coil. Discovered the attached little warning way back in supplements and wonder if anyone has experience with 5 ?
