Welcome firstly to the Forum.

Please do an intro in the New Members Area when time permits.

Also, where are you located????, as different markets have different stuff.

The guys/gals in the XJ S1/2/3 section will have more answers.

The needle and seat valve in each carby may be stuck. Particularly if the car has stood for any time, and the fuel has dried up in the carbies.

Then the list gets long.

Welcome to the forum Mirrorz,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

As suggested in previous replies, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.
