Default Locating Ground wire for Cruise Control set switch

Hi guys,

i'm trying to retrofit and troubleshoot my cruise control setup in my 84 XJ6. I'm trying to figure out if my cruise set switch is properly grounded at the mom"ent.

I have found the black/pink wire which goes to the cruise control button, but i cannot locate the ground wire for this switch. There is a "double" ground "butterfly" ground loop that looks like it grounds the blinkers & washer stalks, but I can't be sure if the ground wire for the set switch is part of this.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

I will have to dig up the electrical guides tomorrow. They are at work. Hopefully it will help. Are there any in the sticky section?

the guide i have (from the cathouse) just shows that the ground wire is black, and it comes from the switch -- locating it in real life is the challenge!
