Default New radio

I am looking to get a new radio for my 86 Jaguar. What brand should I get? Would I have to make modifications?
Thanks!

I've moved your question from Jaguar Forums Advice / Feedback & Suggestion Center to XJ6 Series I, II & III forum. The Advice / Feedback & Suggestion Center is for posts about the forum and not for technical questions.

Members here with the same model will be able to help.

RetroSoundUSA.com - 1961-75 Jaguar XK-E / E-Type Model One Radio w/ Chrome Euro Plate

You may want to look at this.
I have seen many Jags modified with a more current style radio. I have not done this myself, as I am not there yet. But I will. I am considering this Company as an option. I dont know that you will get the best price from the website direct. But I have seen these radios on E-bay (New) for much cheaper. One even advertised that no cutting is needed to install on a Jag - but you will need to find that link - I was not able to locate it. The neat thing about this product is that it looks more like a stock unit - but has all the functions of a new unit. Including IPOD or MP3 capability. Check it out.
