Default Output shaft/drive shaft bearings,S1 XJ6

If you are looking for these bearings(3207-2RS,35x72x27mm) double row bearing, here is what i found

Local jaguar supplier $180
Bearing service centre $135.19
CBC (NTN Brand 5207-2RS) $106
Harley dealer(clutch hub bearing,) $155
Jagdaim $85
EBAY $45 delivered ALL ***** Clutch HUB Bearing 35 ID X 72 OD X 27 W Harley Flstfse FAT BOY 2005 | eBay

Talked to my local bearing guy who I have been dealing with for 26 years for printing machinery and motorcycle bearings, straight away he said search Harley clutch bearing on ebay,"same bearing, less than half what I can give it to you for at trade price"

The Third Rule of Acquisition plainly states: "Never pay more than you have to!"

That's Great, Clarke! Parts are where you find them.

Yup

Now looking for spindle nuts for the derelict VW based dune buggy in my drive way. LH thread!! Uses now discredited idea that RH on left side revolving would loosen???

Found LH NFT nut of the correct size internally at Ace Hardware. Too thick. Sliced would make two of what I need. At least it fits the spindle nicely. Now, to see what I can do to make use of it or decide it will not work and resume my search for the correct nuts. Some far out thoughts in mind.

Carl
