Just bought a 1987 Jaguar XJ6 with 22,650 miles on it. Need owners manual, can they be purchased for a download or do I
have to buy one at Ebay?

Welcome to the Jaguar Forums! It's great to have you with us.

Is your Jaguar a Series III or an XJ40? I ask because in North America, 1987 was the last year of the Series III and 1988 was the first year of the XJ40. In the U.K. and elsewhere, 1987 was the first year of the XJ40.

Regarding the owner's manual, eBay is probably your best bet. I am not aware of a pdf version available online. However, there are some other very helpful references you can download for free. If you'll let us know whether your car is a Series III or XJ40, I'll post some links for you.

While I haven't looked to source one if I was going to Ebay would be a good start. That said I have mine and honestly it has so little info in it and Ive found more and more useful info just by google Ive misplaced it.

My car came with two. Owner's manual and a maintenace manual. Indeed,. very useful.
