Talking Parts in Seattle Washington

I needed a turnsignal switch for my 87 XJ6, but didn't want to pay up the nose for one. I found a Jaguar / Land Rover recycler in Seattle Washington called British Auto Center
(mailtopartsjunkie@gmail.com)
I called the place up and asked if they had one and they said they did for $95.00 + tax. I told them I'd be down in about an hour. When I went in the door, I was amazed at all the pats they had. My part was sitting on the counter waiting for me as I walked up. The part works great, the deal was great and I'm still in awe at what they have. Every interior trim part, grilles, door panels, lights, seats, carpets, switches, handles, lock cylinders, glass, exterior trim, wheels, door seals...everything you can imagine was either hanging on the wall, on a shelf or counter. It's all there!

British Auto Center, LTD
2938 SW Avalon Way
Seattle WA 98126

They are definetly going to be my parts supply for sure! If you know the seattle area, cross the West Seattle bridge and turn left at the west end. It's a funky corner, but head south to Avalon SW and it's about a block up on the right. Blue building that looks like a service garage from the 60's. Look for all the jaguars and land rovers....you'll be in heaven....

Thanks for the tip! Trying to find the little parts and peices is pretty much impossible in the NW. I'll definitely stop by there

Default You're definetly welcome

I was so happy when I found this place after what I went through trying to find my switch for under $150.00, I want everyone to know about them.

Let me know your reaction after you visit them, I KNOW you're going to be shocked when you walk in.

I have found several excellent parts at the Lynnwood WA Pull a Part. Recently there was a 1985 Jaguar XJ6 VDP with 65,000 miles on it. Small dent on front wing so it got scrapped - totalled. So many good parts. I asked the folks at the front counter how much they charged for interior door panels,... answer $14.95 each. Because I had just done a restoration on my 86 I knew how to remove the door panels in only a few minutes each,...so 30 minutes later I had all 4 panels AND a set of long haired sheepskin overcarpets ( found in the boot all dirty - they cleaned up real nice), that used to be found on new VDP models. So for about 80 dollars I got the 4 doorpanels (in "as new" condition) the over carpets, and the power antenna with the motor relay and all the necessary hardware that is associated with the electric antenna for about 15 dollars more. If I recall they gave me the sheepskin overmats for nothing. One of those times when dirty old sheepskins with a shoddy appearance works for you... warm water and a mild shampoo made them like new.

You can really score if you know what you are looking for.

My parts guy here retired and sold off all of his stuff with his building. I've been looking for a good place for the ol' XJ ever since.
I'm in NW Wa all the time. Mini road trip!
