People do love an old jag!!
I went out saturday evening to go to a local cruise/car show. Of course i was in the jag, being as there was no registration, pretty much just a slew of old American muscle cars, a dj a beer and food vendor, and a closed of street and park, i figured i would see.if they would let the jag in, lo and behold as i pulled up they opened the barrier and waved me.in, no questions asked!
Got lots of looks and thumbs up even in the sea of ol chebys!!
Heard a lot of "check out the old jag"
People even took pictures! (I however didnt) i had a great night!
So, polish up your car and get out and enjoy it!

Sounds like a good night. I might see if my local car club is interested in having an event like that. We have a lot of interesting iron in the area, and not everyone is in our club so it would be a good excuse to meet up.
We had a twilight picnic going onto Christmas last year as the weather warmed up. It wouldnt be hard to publicise it a bit and arrange a bit of catering.

Yeah, My daughter used to run her gift shop in nearby alameda.
The Merchant's association sponsored a car show a couple of times. blocks of the main drag closed. Lined with critters of all types.
From ancient fire trucks to Cobra replicas. A few Jaguars as well.
I walked the line all the way down one side and back on the other.
Both my ancient cameras on straps around my neck. Lots of pics, somewhere???
Oh, and on the byways, other interesting cars, my Jaguar, not on display, but, in good company.....
Not sure my feet would do it again.....
