Hi Prettydaim,

My 85 has C85 stampings all around.

Most probably a casting and or batch mark.

The Ogle Perforated wheel (which we refer to as Pepper Pots) has a listed part number CAC5667

Cheers,

Nigel

Thanks Nigel, So I gather that all pepperpot wheels for the 1980s are the same wheel apart from the numbers they carry.

as far as I know, it depends on the market they were intended for, as there are Metric and Inch sizes for the same wheels. Metric for Europe and other countries like Australia, and Inches for America.

Hi Jose,

Even in Australia, I need to specify 15 Inch Rims when I order Tyres for this Cat

Cheers,

Nigel

Jaguar started using the metric (390 mm versus 15 inch) wheels on certain XJ40s. But none of the XJ40s used the Pepperpot.

As far as I can tell the CAC5667 was unchanged for as long as Jaguar used it. It was always the same size and offset, and appearance.

Cheers
