Hey, just checking, does the power steering system have a filter in it? If so, where? In the reservior, on the pump itself?

Nope, not on a Ser III, at least.

There *might* be a screen inside the pump....can't say for sure....don't think so, though.

As Doug says, there may be a screen at the bottom of the pump reservoir, if there is it would normally be in the form of a very fine gauze mesh. As there is no separate part shown on any of the parts diagrams, only a strip down of the pump assembly will show if one is there or not. Certainly there is nothing elsewhere, such as a separate oil filter.
