Hi folks. I am waiting on a few underhood parts to arrive, so i thought i would jump on the interior. ( just some basic reassembly)
i had the radio on whilst doing it amd the longer it was on the worse it sounded. So i pulled head unit out and it was so hot i could barely hold it! ( it is an aftermarket single din unit already that was quite a bit deeper than the oe non functioning one that it replaced) so i would like to swap it out again, this time i dont need cd player ( who does anymore?) But would like ipod, usb and bluetooth. I dont however need it to be all flashy with red and.blue.lights, this is a classy car therefore needs a.classy stereo. Any ideas? What have you guys got?

Ive been looking at Alpine, they have a few with mostly basic black front panels and less look at me stuff

 

I've given up on looking for for the specs I want in a good look for the Jag. Nakamichi has a pretty good look in the NA82, NA87, NA88, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the Alpine UTE-52BT despite its looks, because of the value/specs equation. And I have new Alpine SPS-410 speakers already installed.
