Removing the electric door mirror

Normally the mirror can be removed from the outside of the car but sometimes, as you've experienced, the connectors can't be wriggled out.
Remove the door trim panel and you should find the connectors....which are held together with small wire tires.
Or *maybe* you can get away with simply removing the mirror switch (which itself means undoing two connectors) and finding a way to manipulate the mirror connectors upward and through the hole in the door
