Default Replacing Windshield Washer Hose

Hello everyone.

1992 XJ6 Vanden Plas.

Windshield washer lines are in bad shape, so I decided to replace them. Simple job, right? Wrong; the hose disappears under the washer fluid reservoir. After removing the top reservoir, (yes, there is an upper and a lower) I still cannot get to where the hose connects to the motor.

Looking from underneath, there is a plastic cover and brake cooling air duct. If I remove this, will I be able to access the bottom tank and hose connection?

Any tips/suggestions greatly appreciated.

You need to post in the XJ40 forum. Although it says 1992 on the title here, that is only for the XJ12s, the sixes finished in 1986 when the XJ 40 series came out.
