Im driving down the highway betwwen 70-80MPH and when i change lanes there is massive body roll where the car just yaws to the left and right. I can feel the body snap back and forth when i slightly give the wheel a tiny jerk. Also wheni give it gas i can feel it rock, yawing to the left and right. However the drivers side seems to do it more then the passengers side. Im not sure why or how. I just know it reallys annoying. Could it be the sway bar? I havnt a clue, any help would be appreciated.

 

Also just to add on to this, engine tick, how can i remedy this? engine rebuild? valve replacement?

 

Check the sway bar bushings to frame and the links. There are very common replacement items.

I would suspect a valve adjustment for the tick. These use tappets and not hydraulic lifters. You may also want to insure you have the tappet hold down kit installed.

 

Check the steering rack bushings while you're at it.

Can you be more specific on the tick noise?

The tick sound is prevalent when the car is under strain (accerlerating, or speeding up), the tick is quiet but slight when in park and reving it. it seems its comming from the coolant tank side in that area. It started when i used mid grade for one full tank. However the tick isnt as loud when i use Premuim.

 

could be pinging.... possible someone leaned the car out to get a bit more out of the engine, if this is the case, take it to a mech to get it adjusted before you kil the pistons.
