Default Seat swap

Hopefully an easy one for you guys but google has failed me, do xjs seats straight swap into a series 3 xj6, as in straight bolt in swap no modification required?

I don't know but one thing I do know: the XJ-S seats are skeletal compared to the XJ-6 or XJ-12 seats, you might be better off installing XJ-40 seats.

Skinny and undernourished!!!
A lot less padding and comfort.

I'm curious as well. I've heard that XJ40 seats are a direct swap into the SIII XJ6 cars but I'm not 100% sure. I think the color might be off.

Sorry to hijack, but anyone care to comment on the quality & comfort of the XJ40 seats vs the XJ6 seats?
