Will Series 2 ('77 XJ12) seats fit in a Series 1? I'm referring more to the rear seats as I'm sure the fronts would be fine.

Fronts fit fine.. I put '84 S3 Sovereign rear seats in a '72 and they fit. Electric front seats make them sit too high for someone tall.

Gap at top of the seats was filled with fabric in black... note the S3 rear seat belts installed.

Carroll Shelby provided for a tall driver in a Cobra Daytona coupe.

A bump in the top. Known as the Gurney bump. Dan is a tall guy.

Or, seat back all the way. Semi FI drive position. I kinda like a version. Arms almost fully extended. Not the wheel against the chest as some apparently like.

I think there is a cross member there. it can be "sectoned" to allow the seat to sit lower. Seat-sit ???

Off to market before the F's get too far up!!!

Thanks. I can live with a small gap in the side. Fella wants 300 CAD for front and back S2 seats in good nick, which I think is a good price. I'll try to get him down to 250
