Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know if I could replace me sh!tty bent bumper on my Series 2 with the bumper from my Series 1 parts car?

Direct replacement, or some mount fabrication required?
Or just doesn't fit?

I dont believe they are a direct replacement due to the s1 bumpers being essentially a straight profile compared to s2 ones which have a slight curve and an indentation for the shallow grille . You can probably modify mounting brackets to make them fit eventually but they might not look correct as it won't suit the profile of the s2 also the parking lights and turn indicators may not be compatible with the s1 bumper. Check out the sng barratts diagrams and the differences are apparent.
