in 1980 my chairman took in a series 2 coupe. he instrcted me to make it into a series 3, at that time just out look a like. i remeber removing wings, changing bumper/side lights fittings/holes etc. we the repainted car in metallic blue, doors off, engine out etc. he then drove car for a while as liked handling of coupe short wheel base. the car was sold to new zealand? has any one come across it. when finished, it looked like a series 3 coupe., the only one in the world.
