Series III XJ6 smog pump questions...
Hey everyone pulled my seized smog pump off today with the intentions of installing the new one I special ordered through Pep Boys. I checked the new one to make sure it was in fact the correct one (all of the holes lined up ect.) so I pulled the old one off and removed the pulley and the studs for mounting the diverter valve and both the studs and bolts are much bigger than the original ones I pulled out (shown in picture below)
So now on to my question, Did I receive the wrong smog pump or can I "simply" go to the hardware store and get the correct size bolts/studs?
Secondly, I live in California currently but I am moving to Arizona this month. With that being said does anyone know if I deleted the smog pump if it would throw off regular Arizona emission as they do not "smog test"?
Thank you for looking!

Two ideas:
1. Just get the hadware store sourced fasteners that fit and bolt it on.
2. Check on AZ requirements. If none needed, dump it!
I know of one CA guy that just removed all of it and neatly plugged the holes. A SMOG tech never noticed it wasn't there.
I've done that twice in the past relying on model issues on two cars. A 65 registered Mustang with 66 stuff. I returned it to 65 status. Same with a 68 Toyota registered as with 69 stuff. I returned it to 68 status. Made it look as built and all went just fine.
