SII XJ12C Getrag 265 swap
Background: Restoring 1974 XJ12C with Megasquirt, 6.1L kit, Getrag 265 and SI dash.
Well, I finally sourced my gearbox for the swap. it’s a BMW box, so I need to fab up a shifter. Simply Performance was able to get me all the other bits for the conversion. Does anybody know the correct distance from the face of the bellhousing to the shifter pivot? I am trying to get this done before I mount the box in the car. I am pretty sure the BMW shift linkage that came with the box sits too far back.

There is a guy with a SIII who used a BMW box for his conversion. I realize there are a few differences in the console between the SII and SIII but he could possibly give you some pointers.
