Default Smoke rear end

Just had my '89 kxs 12 conv out for the first time this year. Washed and waxed, drove some bad gas through it. Has a bad 'clunk' somewhere in left from wheel area. (either a really bad shock or motor mount). What really worried me, was the smoke coming out from around both rear tires when I pulled it into the garage. Wheels were cool (no bearing problems). Could see no flames. Does the emergency brake work on rear wheels as well. Maybe it's not releasing.
Anybody have any ideas?

Lynn

Do you mean 89 xjs. If so you're in the wrong forum, but the rear brakes on the xjs 89 (and the xj ) are inboard next to the diff and the handbrake works on those. So it could be seized brake calipers or handbrake calipers.
