Well, I had a good run, a good 6n months with no issues, and now i have a scraping grinding noise from front of trans, only there in gear dead silent in neutral and park, everything points to torque converter, anyone here tried googling torque converter for series 3 xj6, no hits at all!!!!!
Anyone have a part number or vendor??? the aeu3023 number is coming up as discontinued... heellpppppppp
Just go to any automatic transmission repair shop. They can order one for you. Rebuilding torque converters is a big sub-industry within the transmission repair industry. Shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah, thanks Doug, thats kinda what i was thinking the worse part is that trans was rebuilt before i took it off the road 3 years ago, been back on road for 15-16 months, there are maybe 3500 miles on the trans, torque converter was supposedly replaced too, but trans shop is going by time versus miles so i am SOL.
I actually found a vendor online that has distribution center here in town, no price available online will have to call the distributor.
