Trans Fluid

Have a slight transmission leak in our new 1984 Vanden Plas. Need to add some more fluid. I can not find what trans fluid to use to replace lost fluid.

Type F or Type FA is the most correct specification (the originally specified "Type G" fluid has been obsolete for many years)

Some use Dexron and report no problems and enjoy a softer shift...but that's not always a good thing
