Tyre size does make a difference.
I have been running around on 225/60 R15's for the last few months.
Dr Phill & I made the decision today to swap back to the 205/70 R15's for Sunday's track day as we are forecast 40% rain and I know the 205's are better tyres in the wet.(two sets of rims)
After a short drive I realise how different the 205's steer compared to the 225's. A lot more moving of the wheel to keep things straight and a slight tendency to under steer.
I'll be packing two of the 225's in the boot for the front, if it is a dry day we will run the 225's.
