Good day to all, just a quick question before I strip down my ball joints to fit all new boots.
I intend to order replacement rubber boots for both ball joints and tie rod joints beforehand. Are they all the same size?
As always, I am very grateful for comments and suggestions. Kind regards Danny.

Danny, 35 years ago I replaced just the bottom ball joint boots on my series 1. Back then it may have been a reasonable thing to replace torn boots. Not now. The newer type ball joints as fitted to the XJ40 onwards are so superior, low priced and easy to fit that it would be a waste of time and effort to do anything else but fit them.Originally Posted by DannyRobertHoward

But for the record, all three joints you describe have different boots.

Many thanks. I found last night that sng actually list these gaiters. It seems that the upper and lower ones have the same part number. The track rod end boot is different, but available. I appreciate your help, thanks once more. Regards Danny.
