Watching In The Left Turn Lane
Yesterday afternoon I was in a left turn lane with Nix behind some mid range Japanese hatch back (gray) driven by a Hispanic 30-something male.
I was far enough back not to make him feel crowded but still make plain my intention to turn. He glanced back in his door mirror and saw Nix sitting there, the most well behaved kitty one could imagine, gleaming as usual. I caught just a hint of a smile.
As we made our turn he kept his eyes on his mirror (fortunately traffic was very light) watching Nix all the way around until the street curved to the right and he pulled into a driveway.
Nix seems to get attention anywhere.
