the 1988 is located in gresham, I dont recall where the 1985 was at. The 1988 should be at some kind of mechanics shop.

as in do not go newer than 1985? or stay newer?

Cool! I will ask you when I am in the market to consider, rather than window shop. It will be a couple weeks before I am ready for considering a jag on the cheap.

if you are close by to Portland, come visit the shop & look at our cars.

We have a series 1 with a V8 swap, you might like to take a look at.

the next time I am around Iw ill have to drop by haha, I live about 30 miles south of portland in a little town, about 12 miles from canby.

Hmmmm, not sure why you'd say that. The 1986 Series III XJ6 and 1987 Series III XJ6 look exactly the same as the 1985 Series III XJ6 !

You're probably thinking of the replacement "XJ40" body style cars. These were '1988 model year' in the USA, 1986/7 model year in some other parts of the world.
