Wheels and tires?

Just purchased a 1986 xjg from a good neighbor.... Wanted to loose the old rusted wheels thats on it now. How large or small can I go?Any suggestions? All are welcome!

I put later model 16" without much problem. If you go to 17" you will get into fender rub on the rear when going over bumps.

WHAT ISTHE BOLT PATTERN IM LOOKING FOR, PLUS TIRE SIZE? THANKS

I think i would be happier with 16"

American mags for XJS

I just converted my 1986 XJS to Chevy small block and want to follow up with a set of American Racing torq-thrust 15" wheels, any suggestions as to what width/backspace/lug pattern will work? Will older chev. rims work with the proper backspacing?
