Default Wiper motor rebuild?

The wiper motor on my Series III XJ6 can't seem to find the park position anymore although it still works fine as a wiper motor. Wondering if the park function is integral to the motor or not? If not, where do I look to find the part to fix it? If so, what is the best way to remove the wiper motor and is there a good place to reliably rebuild these as I don't believe they are available anymore.

it could be the wiper switch, not the motor. Grab and wiggle each wire behind the plastic housing of the wiper switch and see if it makes any difference. (you need to remove the bottom half of the "nacelle" or "plastic cover" behind the steering wheel so you can get to the wiper switch wires as they enter the switch housing). Also the engine needs to be idling.

Otherwise there is a Jaguar wiper motor rebuilder in Wilmington Delaware:

John 302-475-7200 East Coast Jaguar

no web page as far as I know, but he does sell motors sometimes on eBay.
