Default Work-arounds

Just discovered one of my growler hub caps is missing the keeper thingy that holds it in the wheel. I don't see me making one of those so I'm wondering if anyone has any success finding another way to secure it?

Never had to conjure anything up so I have no useful suggestions as far as that goes. But I gotta think that David at EverydayXJ can fix you up for peanuts.

He's a very tolerant guard cat, except with dogs. Most anything could go missing around him except his food.

what is needed is Blued Spring Steel tensioners. Jaguar used it in a number of parts like ashtrays and hubcaps.

Take a steel ring and weld two spring steel tongues to it. Glue the ring behind the cap.

There is already one spring tongue in the car, the one holding the a/c amplifier deep behind the radio.

Thanks for that info Jose, I've already arranged for David at Everyday XJ to send me one. Thanks.
