Default Working on "to do" list

Sunday afternoon,.. time to start on the list of things to do to Jag, been adding to it all winter.
So up on blocks and off with hood. ...

Cleaned up and installed serpentine system,.. I scored from Pull a Part

Re engineered the Caprice air cleaner box to sit low and get cold air from under front apron

Installed the little fuse box that will house all the rats nest of wires on firewall

The rats nest of wires on firewall that made my head hurt...

Dual fans installed,... wiring/sensors to come

I attached a 90 degree angle drive into the trans, then a 20 inch cable extension, then a VSS from JTR, then a Transducer from a V12, that attaches to the electric speedo connection. Here you see the VSS unit (not connected to ECM yet, (yellow) ) resting on the top of the 700r4 until I can fashion a bracket for it.

Nice styling,.. but the lighter weight of the 350 engine allows the front of the car to ride higher,... to be solved and get the proper front ride height

Not all was done on the same day but wanted to finstall the stuff I had collected and prepped for installation ...Sunday was warm and sunny and had some time to do the final fitting on several items. All pieces were on hand and just had to be installed. Fuse box still has to be wired but location took some planning. Serpentine took more time than anticipated. Fans were a "drop in" I had engineered all the brackets etc. Hood took 20 minutes to remove.
VSS arangement took an hour, again all parts on hand ready for install.
Does not take all that long if parts/tools/workspace are on hand and just installation to be done. 6 or 7 hours work..items not mentioned ,...installed new rams horns manifold to replace the older ones that had some problems.
