A look back into my huge collection of Jag and lump tech material refreshed my memory.


The GM crank command wire and the Jaguar starter relay to solenoid wire must both be connected to crank and run.


Well, foisted on my own petard, my redo scheme left out the GM wire.


Result, nice crank on turning the ignition key, but no start.


Jumpered in the GM wire and nice crank and immediate vrooooom.


Well, new relay from son not here yet. Probably in today's mail.


Rain, on the way out, sun coming in.


So, final hook up postponed.


Solved. but, what did I solve???


Bad wire or connection or flakey relay???


Starter, apparently exonerated. I have a spare!!! Old stuff. As I have one, I will not need it. And, of curse, the flip, if I didn't......


Off to lunch and a tad of R&R!!
