Took my serires 3 in for inspection and failed. I ended up failing for small exhaust leaks(need to tighten the clamps). But the first thing the kid said to me was "I can't pass this until you buy the hand cranks for the windows." I told him I would have, except it has power windows. ?!?

Good to see he could find the door handles and let himself out of the vehicle.

Its not like they are hard to find though. I mean, they are on the door handle like 85% of most other vehicles.

i thought it was impossible to fail.....i passed last year w/ my 86 xj6. when they came out w/ the sticker, the ***** who was checked my ride was like you wont be smilin whe you get the bill from your mechanic...i told him Im a member of jag forums...i do the work myself..eat it

The sad thing is, is that he gave you a fail, rather than getting out a spanner and tightening the clamps. What a world we live in
