XJ6 ignition timing

A
Looking for the ignition timing specs on a 1985 Jaguar XJ6. Also is vacuum advance plugged when setting, thanks kevin.

I know the spec for '86-'87s was 17ºBTDC and I suspect an '85 to be the same. That said, I'm not sure original spec means all that much but it's as good a starting point as any.
