the silver one has a leaper....the blue one im doing now came without. rest assured though...there will be a leaper!

How did you lower the silver XJ? Did you go with lowering springs or coilovers?

Ive also heard that lowering it can effect the ride quality, have you noticed this?

actually, back when i lowered the silver one, i wasnt able to find any lowering springs or anything on the market to use ...eibach had some for my xk8, which i used on the 8, but nothing for the 6. so i did it the old school way and figured if it didnt work, id just get new springs!...i cut the front springs and heated up the rears. then i took it and had it all re-aligned. i could absolutely not feel a difference in the ride. if anyone out there knows of something i could lower this car with, please advise.. if not im going to do it the way i did the silver one, because i had absolutely no problems at all. thanks all!...r

Lowering Springs XJ6

You sure you don't want free Seafood meals, (collect your own) of course. But I'll cook.

Then you could photograph and post up a write up about an XJ40 project on another Continent.
