Default XJ6 Rear Suspension Rebuild

Rebuilding a 1982 XJ6 rear suspension after a ring & pinion & brake upgrade and need to gather parts for the hub rebuild and bushings for the control arms. After internet searching parts suppliers, I am somewhat lost, I have no local jaguar dealer, any suggestions as to parts suppliers for the rear suspension that are reasonably priced? Thanks

Coventry West, MotorCars Ltd, Welsh Jaguar, Paul's Jaguar, SNG Barret, XK's Unlimited. Take your pick!

Cheers

Those are all good ones, and specialize in Jaguar. I have also purchased from autopartswarehouse, peachparts.com (Fastlane or AllPartsExpress, two different catalogs under one distributor), buymbparts.biz, autohausaz.com

These places all use basically similar catalogs, but have different prices and brands sometimes; so it can pay to shop around. Many offer free shipping with a large enough purchase. If you wanted, you could choose the best prices and buy from multiple places to save money. But it is arguably better to stay with a single source for simplicity and to build a relationship if that matters.

Many of these sites use the WORLDPAC catalog, and you can also purchase these same parts at Carquest, they can easily order them. You can search out the WP part numbers if you want first, they are the ones that start with W, like this: W0133-1632043. Take a list of these into Carquest if you want to make it a little easier, but they can also look them up. CQ owns WP.

Carquest is a handy option because they don't charge shipping I think, you pick it up at the store. Also, if you order online or at CQ, it usually comes from the nearest local warehouse, unless it is out of stock, then you may receive multiple shipments to complete an order.

Not sure if this is useful, but I found a ton of info on this website http://dazed.home.bresnan.net/JaguarIRS4.html

This guy is rebuilding a Jaguar rear IRS for use in a Mustang, but the Jaguar specific info looks very useful.
