I need your help:

At back rear seat corners/rear parcel shelf, my XJ6 S1 has the chassis metal exposed. I don't know if the headlining from C post has to cover this metal. Can you show me some pictures?

Yes, there were matching material pieces added to cover that area... my car is totally apart right now (interior) for a bare metal paint job that is pending.


Since the windows are coming out as well, I have removed all that stuff in preparation... no pictures of "before". Only have the drivers seat installed.

Jim, I believe that S2 and S1 have similar rear seat. Don't you have a picture from outside showing the seat corner? The headlining seems like mine, but the seat don't cover all the metal!!

Your right it doesn't cover the metal completely...





Sorry about the clarity but you can see the metal

 

Mine as a matching piece of upholstery added to cover that area... no metal shows when all is installed.


I also have the S3 rear seat shoulder belts installed for the rear passenger protection and have added rear "grab bars" over the rear doors for their convenience.
