as a newer owner of a "sat for a while" XJ6, I pulled the carbs and rebuilt them as there were issues. This was wise with lots of "gel" looking muck int he gas hold at the bottom of the carbs. Now I am looking for some steering on where to plug the various vacuum hoses back in (like the two hoses form the air filter cover, and the hose form the "t" to the right of the front carb. Anyone got a good drawing or pix I might use for steering?

BTW, when I got everything re-installed, it fired right up and was running a whole lot smoother.
