XJ6 Vibration

RE: XJ6 Vibration
a bad universal joint maybe, you didn't say what year your car is. Take the car to a driveshaft specialist for checking. Replacing universal joints is easy and not expensive, the Series 3 XJ-6 uses General Motors universal joints. The other possible cause is more complicated, having to do with the shafts on each side of the differential....

and that means the question is in the wrong forum! you can check with the model/year forum for your car.
but regardless, it is a pity that cars so new are showing so many signs of bad quality. I'm not trying to brag here, but my 1984 XJ-6 does not have a fraction of the problems I see here in newer cars. The Series 3 XJ-6 of 1983 thru 1985 appear to be the most reliable, probably due to a man called Sir John Egan, who took over Jaguar quality control in those years.

Though if you just wash your car often, check the fluids keep the filter clean, it can make a worlds of difference.
