Look in the area of the RH trunk lid hinge, perhaps behind a black panel. Someone will come along with a picture.

Cheers

No sooner said than done! The relays are behind the vertical carpet trim that goes up above the RHS of the battery. As you can see, the rearmost one is the fuel relay. Check (i) the relay socket for 12v constant, ignition on, on the brown wire, and (ii) using the orange wire and earthing it, relay in the socket, ignition on, see if there is 12v to the pump 12v positive terminal.

Thanks for your fast reply and help . I removed the carpet but I do not have any relays next to the hinges. The cable supplying the pump ( black and red/blue) is wired in parallel with a sensor on the right side of the boot ( it looks like a round metal part in line with a fuel pipe ) and is wired in the harness going to the front of the car .

Check that 'inertia switch' that is used to cut-off fuel pump (it's by the door). Per my manual 'pump relay is in luggage compartment adjacent to main relay'.

Apologies, I presumed that the 3.6 was the same system as the V12. Someone with a 3.6 will be along to help, no doubt.

This is how my 3.6 looks. I believe those relays in the right-upper corner are the ones.

Hi

When you say you replaced the Fuel Pump on the assumption, this was with a New One?

Then depending on where it was made, it is not uncommon (as in it happened to me!) that the Big and Small Spade Terminals on the Pump did not correspond to the Big and Small Spade Connectors on the Wires that supply Power to the Pump

In other words when connecting the Pump based upon the Size of the Spade Connectors, the Positive and the Negative Wires went on the wrong way round so the Pump wouldn't work

Where following a 'Tip Off' from 'The Wizard of OZ' After swapping those two Wires around, it was only then that the Pump Started Working

(1) Check to see if you have Power going to the Pump (even if the Pump doesn't work at this stage)

(2) Then if you do, try swapping the Power Wires to the Pump around and see if that makes any difference (it worked for me!)

Hi Guys , Good morning , I found the problem ! It was a broken wire ( the wire terminal to the negative blade slider ) . The insulation was crimped but the wire was broken , I found it by accident when removing the pump !
I still did not find the pump relay but hopefully I will not need to know where it is ! . Thanks a lot for your support ! It was a great experience .

Hi NEllul

You may have been looking in the wrong place for the Fuel Pump Relay on your Car

Have a look under the Bonnet/Hood and you may find its on a Bracket bolted to the Rear Firewall or if not on a Bracket in Front of the Radiator Fan

Where almost certainly Next to this you are going to find The Main Relay in a Red Holder (with the Fuel Pump Relay next to it in a Black Holder) both of these need to be working for the Fuel Pump Relay to Work (and they are also not interchangeable)

Always handy to find these things in case it should go in the future, then at least you will know where it is and how to replace it
